The LasApp project was prominently represented at the international workshop Laser Innovative Technologies, organized by the Czech Optical Cluster in Dolní Břežany. On Wednesday, June 5 at ELI-Beamlines and on Thursday at the HiLASE Centre. Sharing experiences and establishing international cooperation was also the goal of this workshop, where there was an opportunity to get to know the Lithuanian laser ecosystem and its representatives.
The Czech Optical Cluster also recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with the European platform Photonhub. Each of the four research workpackages of the LasApp project had the opportunity to introduce themselves, out of a total of 21 contributions, 6 of them belonged to LasApp, i. e., the following papers:
- Space-born Laser Technologies, Martin Divoký, HiLASE Centre Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS)
- New possibilities of hybrid welding and cladding with Laser-MIG technologies, Libor Mrňa, Institute of Scientific Instruments of the CAS
- High power fibre lasers for industry and defence, Pavel Honzátko, Institute of Photonics and Electronics, CAS
- Breakthrough Laser Technologies for Smart Manufacturing, Space and Bio-Tech Applications, Pavel Peterka, Institute of Photonics and Electronics, CAS
- Smart Laser Manufacturing, Sunil Pathak & Jan Brajer, HiLASE Centre Institute of Physics of the CAS
- Laser Applications in Biotechnology and Biomedicine, Petr Hauschwitz, HiLASE Centre Institute of Physics of the CAS
