The first meeting of the International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) of the LasApp project took place at the beginning of December. The event started on the evening of Monday 2 December with an informal meeting of scientific and administrative staff at Villa Lanna, the representative residence of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The programme was packed and included not only expert lectures but also lab tours of the Institute of Photonics and Electronics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague 8-Kobylisy and the HiLASE Centre in Dolní Břežany (Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences). The programme also included a closed ISAB meeting and then a discussion with the project management.
